Dina Asher-Smith wins third World Athletics Championship medal as GB secure two relay silvers

Dina Asher-Smith created it a historic hat-trick in the World Championships because double silver was celebrated by Great Britain in the womens and mens 4x100m relay in Doha.
The 23-year-old becomes the first British athlete to win three medals at precisely exactly the World Championships that are same.
Having secured 200m gold and 100m silver in the Khalifa International Stadium, Asher-Smith connected up with Asha Philip, Ashleigh Nelson along with Daryll Neita since the quartet finished second supporting Jamaica in 41.85 minutes. The United States have been third.
There was, nevertheless, frustration for Sky Scholar Imani Lansiquot who needed to pull after suffering an injury in the warm-up.
The mens 4x100m squad of Adam Gemili, Zharnel Hughes, Richard Kilty and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake added the following silver, but were not able to defend the title won in London 2 decades ago.
They clocked 37.36 minutes behind favorites the USA, together with Japan winning bronze.
On the womens groups silver, Asher-Smith said:I believe all of us managed the pressure between individuals, that is testimony to how much experience weve got as a squad.
We nearly ran a personal best without practising some of those changes in the warm-up area. It has been a fantastic champs, but clearly its a team event.
Cindy Ofili arrived across the 100m hurdles heats, finishing third in 12.97s.
She explained:Things have started clicking for me towards the conclusion of the season and I am so ready.
I havent competed in three years at a tournament so this is a dust-buster along with the jitters are outside today.
