Rhian Brewster makes Liverpool squad with Divock Origi absent after injury

Teenage striker Rhian Brewster is currently in Liverpool’s squad because of their Champions League group game against Napoli, together with injured Divock Origi missing out.
Even the Champions League holders begin the defence of the sixth European Cup title in Naples on Tuesday in the San Paolo Stadium. Also are Belgian side Genk and Austrian club RB Salzburg.
19, brewster, has not yet been contained in a Premier League matchday squad this past year. His sole first-team involvement this term has been in the UEFA Super Cup squad.
But Origi’s injury against Newcastle in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Anfield raises the likelihood of Brewster’s participation against Napoli using Liverpool short on backup alternatives that are striking.
Actually, Origi’s injury on Saturday prompted the Liverpool U23 coaching staff to substitute Brewster 15 minutes.
Origi, the Belgium ahead, was taken off after suffering a foot injury in Saturday’s 3-1 win at Anfield and, even based on director Jurgen Klopp, he’ll undergo a scan to assess the damage.
