Solheim Cup: Angel Yin unable to practice as she waits for clubs to arrive

Team USA’s preparations to this week’s Solheim Cup are disrupted.
Yin and Europe celebrity Jodi Ewart Shadoff equally came at Scotland on Sunday Yin’s had to turn up in Gleneagles, morning while Ewart Shadoff was cooperating with her nightclubs and, while his nightclubs remained in Dublin.
Was likewise forced to borrow clothing in team-mate Lizette Salas as her private luggage failed to reach its intended destination.
Yin was not able to take part in Tuesday morning’s practice around and was restricted to hitting on a few shots on the scope with clubs.
The unfortunate situation for Yin is a setback to the group’s preparations, with captain Juli Inkster forced into a change if Stacy Lewis aggravated a back injury on Monday and was ruled out of this competition.
Lewis has been substituted with debutant Ally McDonald, that now becomes the newcomer on the American group, while only Salas, Lexi Thompson and Morgan Pressel and with a Solheim Cup in Europe have played.
There was even better news for Inkster’s European counterpart Catriona Matthew as Ewart Shadoff celebrated the birth of her golf clubs in time for her practice round on Tuesday.
Ewart Shadoff played Dutch rookie Anne van Dam and Carlota Ciganda since Matthew sent out her team in teams of 3, possibly a ploy to prevent giving away too many clues regarding her intended pairings when the 16th version of the tournament will get underway on Friday morning.
Charley Hull went out first with Solheim Cup debutant Bronte Law and fellow English star and Expert German Caroline Masson, with Suzann Pettersen along with Celine Boutier and Caroline Hedwall – the final and third rookie on the house team.
Last year, Women’s British Open winner Georgia Hall played using Anna Nordqvist and Azahara Munoz in the category.
