Twins Break Yankees’ MLB Single-Season HR Mark With 268

Only one of their home runs hit by the Twins came with a runner on base (Polanco’s two-run shot at the fifth that made the match 8-4).
Following the album was tied by Cruz, the Twins loaded the bases but Jose Cisnero struck pinch-hitter Luis Arraez to end their threat still.
Polanco now has 20 home runs this year, which set another record for the Twins. Minnesota includes eight players with 20 home runs this season, the most by any team in MLB history.
They also matched the 2000 Astros’ major league record of five games with a couple of home runs in one year.
Last night’s game also marked the 11th this year that the Twins struck more or five home runs in one contest, extending their MLB album but was the very first time they’ve lost a match. They have been 49-0 in games with five or more home runs.
