Britains Dina Asher-Smith underlined her standing as preferred for the 200m domain as she qualified for Wednesday.
The 23-year-old planet 100m silver medallist won her semi-final in 22.16 seconds – the fastest time of the afternoon.
Her hopes of becoming the first British female to win a world sprint title improved together with Olympic champion Elaine Thompsons withdrawal.
The final at the Khalifa Stadium of Doha begins at 20:35 BST.
Compatriots Jodie Williams and Beth Dobbin didnt qualify for the closing.
The time of asher-Smith was a third of a second faster than the next fastest qualifier, USAs Brittany Brown. American winner Anglerne Annelus also qualified by winning her semi-final in 22.49.
The stars appear adapting with the Thompson joining Dutch defending champion Dafne Schippers bronze medallist Marie-Josee Ta Lou along with 100m winner Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce one of the principal contenders to get pulled out of Jamaica for Asher-Smith. Im surprised I felt good. I was not too stiff so that I just had to come along and give it a go, said Yousif, who has competed in two 4x400m races.
I need another few gears
Grenadas Kirani James, who won the world title in 2011 and golden at London 2012, was the fastest qualifier within 44.94 moments. Just two of the favorites having both run beneath this year, Fred Kerley and USAs Michael Norman, are through.
Olympic and world champion and world record holder Wayde van Niekerk failed to recover from a knee injury in time for the Championships.
From the womens 400m, Britons Laviai Nielsen and Emily Diamond dropped out on a location in Thursday. Winner Miller-Uibo is the favorite and eased into the final.
Both European bronze medallist Meghan Beesley and Jessica Turner qualified for Wednesdays 400m hurdles semi-finals. The pair finished third in their respective heats.
I have had a great two years now, Im feeling strong now, Beesley told BBC Sport. I hope I could go out there tomorrow and step it up a little.
USA pair Dalilah Muhammad and Sydney McLaughlin also improved. Olympic champion Muhammad, 29, is the hot favourite having put a new world record – 52.20 minutes – at the federal trials.
From the mens 3,000m steeplechase heats, Zak Seddon, Britains only representative, finished seventh and missed out to a spot in Fridays closing.
The USA surged following three golden medals on day five in the medal table, including Noah Lyles victory in the mens 200m.
Additional success came in the mens pole vault final, that proved to be a tussle between American defending champion Sam Kendricks and Swedish prodigy Armand Duplantis.
It appeared the 19-year-old European champion had up it when he cleared 5.97m with his third effort, prior to the American matched his feat to a roar within the Khalifa International Stadium.
Duplantis failed to clean 6.02m, that given Kendricks the success count-back. Bronze went into Polands Piotr Lisek.
